Colorado Springs, CO (February 24th, 2022) – The Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC announced Thursday it had released their full 2022 promotional schedule.
The promotional calendar includes all theme nights and giveaways for the 2022 home schedule. Every home game for the 2022 season comes with a theme and a corresponding giveaway item, and every match this season will end with a fantastic fireworks show!
March 12th is our home opener, and we’re kicking off with a St. Patrick’s Day theme. Our title sponsor for the game, Weidner Apartment Homes, will be giving away Switchbacks t-shirts. Our Cinco de Mayo match on May 5th will be a night to celebrate our latino community, and our partners at 291 will also provide a specialty drink: the whisk-a-rita. June 24th will celebrate all our pint sized fans with Children’s Hospital of Colorado, with our Princesses and Pirates night where fans are encouraged to dress up in an outfit befitting a toy wand or sword.
July 1st kicks off 4th of July weekend, and our friends at Phil Long are giving away the perfect summertime ball cap. Our 4th of July match last season had the largest fireworks celebration in all of Colorado Springs, and this year’s will be bigger and better – one for the books! On August 20th, the Switchbacks will celebrate diversity in all its shapes, sizes and colors with our ‘Soccer For All’ night. Our Small Business Night on August 27th gives a nod to incredible atmosphere that our commercial district has created in Downtown COS. Our final home match of the regular season will be September 27th, and we’re rounding out the season with our club and country night – a popular soccer tradition that includes a unique scarf giveaway!
