The Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC are hosting open tryouts on April 18th for the upcoming 2021 season. At least one player will be invited to preseason training with the Switchbacks!

3-4:30pm MT (Group 1)
5-6:30pm MT (Group 2)
7-8:30pm MT (Group 3)
Sunday April 18:
12-1:30pm MT (Invite Only Scrimmage)
75 spots are available with 25 players being placed in Group 1 for the first session (3-4:30pm MT), another 25 players will be placed in Group 2 for the second session (5-6:30pm MT), and the final 25 players will be placed in Group 3 for the final session (7-8:30pm MT) on April 17. A scrimmage will take place at 12pm MT on April 18 with all of the players that have been invited back for an 11v11 scrimmage.
Applicants are advised that COVID-19 safety protocols will be followed at the open tryout with your temperature being checked before entering Weidner Field. Please wear a mask arriving to tryouts. Spectators will not be allowed.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions and fluid international travel policies, the club will not allow international players for the 2021 tryout.
Purchases are not refunded.

Registration: Each player participating in the Switchbacks FC Open Player Tryout must completely fill out the Registration Form on our website. All applicants will be directed to the form page after submitting payment.
Requirements: All players are required to bring a form of valid identification (i.e. Driver’s License, passport, etc.) to the tryout. Players must fill out and sign waiver form to participate in tryout.
Promotion: At least ONE person will be invited to preseason training.
Cost: Early Bird registration- $200 (Fees include one Switchbacks FC shirt and water bottle) Registration fees increase to $225 after February 28th, 2021. There will be no refunds for the Switchbacks FC tryouts. Fees do not include lodging, transportation or meals.
Staff: Tryout sessions will take place in front of Switchbacks FC coaching staff and former professional players and coaches who have extensive knowledge of professional soccer. The Switchbacks FC coaching staff is responsible for any final decisions regarding player contracts.
Transportation: Transportation is not provided. Trialists will be responsible for their own transportation.

In addition to the registration fee, participants are responsible for all airfare, incurred travel costs, food, and transportation. Also, note that the Switchbacks FC will not help with Visas or letters of invitation.
Players must come prepared for the tryouts with their own cleats, socks, gloves, shin guards, or any other equipment related to their position.
Teams will be constructed randomly according to players' preferred positions.
