At Weidner Field on June 9th, the Switchbacks FC partnered with American Heart Association for the Annual Heart Walk 5k as well as talking on the importance of heart health. The American Heart Association taught and discussed how to notice severe signs in a stroke using the F.A.S.T. method. Some special people were also in attendance at the Annual Heart Walk including Ziggy along with Switchbacks Assistant Coach, Wolde Harris. All of these donations from the walk will go to education and heart health awareness.
