(Colorado Springs, CO., February 24, 2016) – The Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC is proud to announce a partnership with Phil Long Lincoln of Colorado Springs for the 2016 United Soccer League Season.
Phil Long Lincoln is the Switchbacks preferred auto dealer whose logo is proudly displayed on the team’s newly graphic wrapped van used for in town events, transportation of players and will be on display at all home game day matches.
“Michael Gonzales and the team down at Phil Long Lincoln have a passion for Colorado Springs and the game of soccer,” said Switchbacks FC’s President, Nick Ragain of the recent partnership. “It’s a perfect fit for us.”

The Switchbacks were founded in 2014 by Ragain Sports, LLC. In 2015, the team finished third in the United Soccer League’s Western Conference, clinching a playoff berth in its first year of existence in 2015. The Switchbacks FC play at the newly renovated Switchbacks Stadium, home to more than 40,000 spectators. The USL league attendance was over 2.7 million in North America across 24 teams with games televised locally on Comcast as well as nationally on YouTube.
