Thank you for your interest in covering Switchbacks home matches during the 2025 season.
Credentials will be issued on a single-game basis. Please take a moment to read through the information below before completing your credential application:
- Credential applications must be submitted no later than 48 hours before kickoff of the requested match.
- Credentials are only for accredited media outlets that need gameday Press Box and/or Field access to produce editorial coverage, not to just watch the match. This includes newspapers, TV, radio, and legitimate digital websites that produce consistent and professional content adhering to accepted journalistic principles. All outlets must be accredited.
- By applying for a credential, media members agree and understand that they will be operating under strict safety protocols. Failure to comply with the protocols will result in immediate removal from the venue and credentials will be revoked.
Please note photographers will be required to shoot from designated areas and must wear Media Pinnies at all times.
The Switchbacks will conduct interviews with head coach James Chambers and a Switchbacks player following the conclusion of the match on the field. A member of the Switchbacks’ communications staff will escort media down to the field following the game.
The Switchbacks communications and stadium operations team review each application individually and reserve the right to deny any application that does not meet the criteria stated above. If approved you will receive an email with the check-in processes and protocols.
Please be advised that while covering content at Weidner Field, you should exercise caution with your equipment. Switchbacks FC is not responsible for any damage or loss incurred to equipment brought onto the premises. We recommend taking appropriate precautions to protect your gear during your visit.
